DForce Engineering Ltd formed in July 2015 to provide 3D design, manufacture and assembly of Spot, MIG welding and Riveted BIW assembly fixtures primarily for the automotive industry. With over 30yrs experience within the automotive Industry we have seen tremendous growth over the past few years. From our 11,000 sq/ft premises we are continuing to expand our design and automation teams to support our increasing OEM & Tier 1 customer requirements.
We are able to provide services for our customers from full design concepts to installation within their production lines.

Design, manufacture, integration. Start to finish.
Our larger projects include the design, manufacture, assembly of complete robot assembly lines for a major OEM which includes tryout, installation, guarding, software and commissioning support at their production site. Providing full documentation including 2D drawings, pneumatic diagrams, function plans, electrical drawings, together with design risk assessments and electrical controls design we are able to complete the CE approval of fully functioning and safe automated robot cells & lines.

3D DESIGN & SIMULATION
With a young, bright, team of in-house enthusiastic designers mentored by hands on experienced leaders we have the knowledge and ability to complete projects from simple assembly & welding fixtures to full robot steel & aluminium welding/riveting lines including robot simulation and reach studies. Using Catia V5 as our main design software allows us complete compatibility with the industry's top automotive suppliers.
For some customers we offer a complete Design only service generating the 3D solution through to issuing 2D drawings & Parts lists for them to manufacture and assemble themselves.

ROBOT SIMULATION
We very much believe in developing our workforce to transfer our knowledge of over 30yrs experience within the Automotive industry to enthusiastic designers and design leaders. We have invested in training in Delmia Robot simulation which fits perfectly with our Catia V5 design environment. We also create robot lines and cell simulations using Siemens Process Simulate which allows our customers to visualise process flow and confirm production cycletimes. This allows us the ability to not only design fixtures but to then integrate them into a robot cells or complete lines. We are able to complete FEA analysis on critical components that complement our design risk assessments processes ensuring we can provide reliable tools.

MANUFACTURE, ASSEMBLY & INSPECTION
DForce has built a reputation in providing quality jigs and fixtures giving our customers confidence in placing significant projects with us. With our network of reliable manufacturers and in house assembly teams we are able to provide complete assembled & inspected fixtures or complete robot cells for our customers. We have already provided many fixtures for a variety of large Tier 1 suppliers and OEM’s within the automotive industry. Having an experienced in house assembly team we are able to build and try out a range of tooling and fixtures prior to delivery to our customers as well as supporting their site commissioning. We have invested in growing our core competencies to include Software commissioning, Offline Robot Programming (OLP) that will enable us to integrate cells more efficiently to our customer plants.
